Hizbullah Condemns "Israeli" Attempt to Break into Dome of Rock, Desecration of Holy Quran

Commenting on the desecration of a Zionist officer to the Holy Quran in the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque and the attempt of a Knesset member to attack the Dome of the Rock Mosque, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

The "Israeli" occupiers' campaign of attacking al-Quds sanctuaries has mounted recently.
This comes as an "Israeli" soldier desecrated the Holy Quran by kicking it during a religious teaching session in al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards. He further hit the female students participating in the session.

Meanwhile, a Knesset member attempted to break into the Dome of the Rock Mosque this morning [Monday] , which prompted the honorable people of al-Quds to stop this hateful criminal from continuing his despicable actions.
These ongoing crimes by the Zionists against al-Aqsa and the sanctuaries come during a complete Arab and Islamic silence, what prompted the Mufti of al-Quds to describe the Arab and Islamic position as languid.

Amid all this, the Arab peoples are called today, more than ever, to declare a decisive stand refusing the Zionist attacks against the Islamic and Christian sanctities in al-Quds as well as in all the occupied Palestinian territories.

In parallel, Hizbullah urges the Arab people to pressure the governments not to deviate from the fundamental issue of Arabs and Muslims, which is fighting the Zionist entity, through drifting in the scheme of agitating differences between the countries in the region and financing dissension and internal fighting, that only serves the Zionist and Western projects.

As Hizbullah condemnes the Zionist crimes against the Islamic and Christian holy sites, it viewes that these crimes disregard all what our people believe in.

This requires to confront this attack with all our energies, to support our people in occupied Palestine and to remove the nightmare of the Zionist occupation to their land.
