Hizbullah vehemently condemned the two terrorist explosions that hit the northern city of Tripoli on Friday, issuing the following statement:

The hand of terror refuses but to occupy the Lebanese people, and keep them counting their martyrs and injured, as these innocent people fall victims to terror in the different Lebanese regions.

Following the explosions that hit the people of Beirut's Dahiyeh, two criminal explosions targeted worshipers Friday noon, as they performed prayers in two mosques in Tripoli, North of Lebanon.

Hizbullah Condemns New Terrorist Crime in Tripoli

The two terrorist explosions come as interpretation to the criminal scheme that aims at sowing the seeds of strife among the Lebanese, and dragging them into internal sectarian conflict. Such serves the cruel international project to the region, which aims at dividing our region and drowning it in seas of blood and fire.
Hence, Hizbullah expresses its unease and distress to the calamity that hit its patient people in Tripoli, and condemns this new terrorist crime.

Hizbullah considers this crime as continuation to a project with the goal of spreading chaos and destruction throughout Lebanon, also as realization to the malicious goals of the Zionist enemy and its supporters.

Moreover, Hizbullah expresses utmost solidarity and unity with its brothers and people in the dear city of Tripoli, especially in light of the tragic moments where pure and innocent blood run down the streets for no reason.

Also, Hizbullah expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying Allah the Almighty to accept them, and wishes the injured quick recovery.
Hizbullah urges the people to remain wise and prudent, and disregard rumors and accusations that aim at corrupting and harming the country and its people.
