Hizbullah Condemns Sheikh Ghiyyeh Murder

Hizbullah calls on concerned judicial authorities to reveal the evidences of Sheikh Ghiyyeh assassination.
Denouncing the cruel assassination of Sheikh Saadeddine Ghiyyeh in Tripoli, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The Lebanese Northern city of Tripoli witnessed a brutal crime Tuesday morning; a new crime in which the Islamic Action Front official, Sheikh Saad al-Dine Ghiyyeh was assassinated.
Sheikh Ghiyyeh had spent his life defending the choice of resistance and the path of right, also calling for unity among Muslims and warning from the risks of extremism.
Hence, Hizbullah denounces this terrorist crime, which targeted an Islamic symbol. Hizbullah considers this heinous act as a normal reaction to the inflammatory and mobilizing rhetoric practiced by some in Tripoli and other Lebanese regions. Thus, the assassination of Sheikh Ghiyyeh is one of the many attempts to shove the country into feverish atmosphere.
Hizbullah condoles the leadership, members, and supporters of the Islamic Action Front, also Muslims in general for the loss of this dear scholar and mujahid.
Hizbullah urges specialized judicial authorities to soon uncover the perpetrators of this condemned crime, punish them and set them as an example to people, also set an end to attempts of sowing strife among the Lebanese and pushing them into an ominous situation.
