Hizbullah Condoles Al-Karami Family: PM Karami Example of Politician Who Supported Resistance

Hizbullah offered its deepest condolences and expressed its sympathy with the "great family of the late PM Omar Abdul Hamid Karami as well as with the people of his city and supporters across the nation."
In its statement, Hizbullah said: "With Prime Minister Karami's death, we have lost a great national and Arab figure, who had left his mark on the events and was an example of the honest politician. He was the model of conscience's owner, who refuses to achieve special interests over the interests of his people and country. He was truly a descendant of al-Karami family, that sacrificed martyr PM Rashid Karami in order to save the unity of the country, and to defend it from rupture and collapse."
It further added that "losing Prime Minister Omar Karami in these circumstances, in particular, makes Lebanon lose a wise, sober, and conscious person, who was fully are to the risks we are facing."
"He was a man, who was known for his positions in support of the resistance and the Arab identity of Lebanon and its liberation from occupation. He was a senior figure from Lebanon and will be remembered for all that is good and authentic in this country ".
Moreover, the statement mentioned that the hope "is to complete this national approach embodied in the marchers on his path in ancient al-Karami house, led by his son, Minister Faisal Omar Karami."
The party also prayed that al-Mighty God grant the great deceased man a rest in peace and that his family and loved ones are inspired patience and fortitude."
