Hizbullah Condemns Suicide Attack in Kuwait

Hizbullah issued a statement on Friday condemning the crime committed by Takfiri criminal gangs at Imam Sadek [AS] mosque in Kuwait. The suicide attack targeted worshippers fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. It was the most heinous violation of the sanctity of mosques and of the holy month.

Hizbullah considered that the Takfiri terrorists involved in these crimes are displaying their brutality, committing the most atrocious massacres throughout history and deliberately implementing the goals of the Ummah's enemies.

Such deviant groups offend and hurt all Muslims, both Shi'is and Sunnis, in Kuwait, abuse the sanctity of Islam on a daily basis and target mosques and shrines in all parts of the Islamic world.

Further, Hizbullah called on the Kuwaitis to remain steadfast in patience and solidarity to prevent the terrorists from achieving their despicable goals, stressing the importance of the efforts exerted to sustain national unity.

The party also called on all the governmental and popular bodies to unite and cooperate against the terrorist groups, and to take all precautionary measures to prevent the repetition of this evil act.

Hizbullah finally offered its deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
