Hizbullah greatly denounced the heinous Saudi crime of assassinating the great scholar, the Mujahid Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr.

Hizbullah Denounces Sheikh Al-Nimr’s Assassination: His Execution to Demolish Al-Saud

This crime was based on invalid pretenses, corrupt rulings and empty allegations that contradict justice, and pervert logic, away from justice.

The real reason behind Saudi Arabia's decision to execute Sheikh al-Nimr was that he asked loudly and demanded the rights of an oppressed people, who are governed by tyranny and ignorance, and are harrowed the rights and wealth, by a corrupt group that respects no Divine rules.

Furthermore, the Saudi authorities' hatred against this group of mujahedeen didn't stop at this point.

It rather extended to join them with groups of terrorist gangs, which terrorized innocent people and committed crimes against civilians, in an attempt to mix the purity of Sheikh al-Nimr's right with the void criminality of terrorists.

Sheikh al-Nimr is a Divine scholar, who followed the track of dialogue. He resisted the injustice with word and attitude.

In parallel, His Eminence's persistence on the right until martyrdom is to demolish al-Saud's falseness, refute their claims, and invalidate their malicious attempts to tarnish the image of the nation's jihad.

This crime that took place at the beginning of the New Year resembles a stain of disgrace that will afflict the regime which has been committing massacres and atrocities since its emergence.

The latest of these incidents was the brutal massacre against thousands of pilgrims in Mina without expressing grief or sorrow for the criminal act.

Moreover, Hizbullah called on the international community, its organizations and humanitarian agencies, as well as all the lively forces in our nation, to condemn the awful crime and place the Saudi authorities in the global criminal record where they belong. This comes as the Saudi regime unjustly ruled a religious figure, whose hands are clean from blood. He didn't commit a crime, but said  ‘No' for injustice and aggression.

Hizbullah further considered that the US and its allies are morally and directly responsible for this crime because they support the Saudi regime and cover up its criminal acts against the region's people although they falsely claim to hold the slogans of democracy, freedom and human rights.

As the party offered its deep condolences and congratulations to the Sheikh al-Nimrs' family and brethren in the eastern region, the Arab peninsula and the entire Islamic World, it asked al-Mighty God to grant the martyr His mercy and to immortalize his teachings and path.
