Hizbullah condemned the terrorist criminal massacre committed by Daesh [the Arabic acronym for the terrorist "ISIS" group] Takfiri gangs in the al-Karrada Market, in the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad, causing the martyrdom of more than 170 people, and the injury of hundreds others.

This brutal crime, which targeted worshippers in one of the latest nights of the holy month of Ramadan, ahead of the al-Fitr Eid, expresses again the amount of hatred inside those criminals to all values of goodness and righteousness. They are also driven in the way of destroying the structure of the Arab and Muslim societies, and damage their heritage and principles.

Such a crime, which targeted a crowded marketplace and a mosque where the name of Allah and his Prophet are being recited, is a new motive for all free and honest people in the world to meet on the goal of fighting this Takfiri criminality backed by regional countries that work in days and nights to damage countries, implant disorder and provoke people against each other, in favor of their malicious projects and the policies of their western masters.

This ugly crime came in parallel with Daesh being repeatedly defeated on the hands of the Iraqi fighters on multiple fronts, which stresses that those terrorists are avenging their disability and retreat in the battlefields by targeting safe civilians. This act reveals the extent to which those terrorists are deteriorating, including planners and executors without exception.

As Hizbullah expresses deepest condolences to the oppressed and patient Iraqi people, leadership and government, it asks Allah that the martyrs rest in peace, and the injured of this attack get well soon.
