Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad rejected 'Israel' conditioning its withdrawal from the Syrian Golan Heights to Damascus ending its relations with Iran, Hizbullah and Hamas.
"We are willing to discuss peace with 'Israel', but we do not accept the condition of ending our relations with Iran, Hamas and Hizbullah," Assad told the Italian daily Espresso.
"We are paving the way for true peace negotiations. But we need the presence of the US to launch these negotiations," he added, noting that he is waiting for a new US president to be elected.
