CAIRO - An Arab political activist accused certain Arab governments of cooperating with secret services operated by the United States and the Zionist regime.
Abdul Aziz Alhosseini, general coordinator of International Campaign Against US and Zionist Regime Occupation, told Alalam that the Arab countries` security organizations are unable to provide security for their own citizens.
"Even if Arabs have reached to the conclusion that they need to cooperate with US and `Israel` for their own benefit, I still call this treason".
He said apart from Jordan, whose security and intelligence cooperation with the US and the Zionist regime has become public knowledge, intelligence organizations in many other Arab countries "commit the same crime."
"After establishing relations with `Israel` and moving toward making peace with this regime, some Arab countries have retired their security staff who believed in confronting `Israeli` intelligence organizations," he said.
He said some Arab countries are forming coalitions against resistance forces in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq.
"Adopting a peaceful strategy is meaningless as long as the enemy continues its aggressions and the occupation of Arab lands," he added.
