MP Emile Lahhoud: False Witnesses File Should be Solved in Parliament

MP Emile Emile Lahhoud considered that "the current week is fateful and decisive for Lebanon and the Lebanese," calling for solving the false witnesses issue in the parliament, otherwise the problem will be taken to streets especially that the country has arrived to a sensitive time."

Lahhoud criticized the visits of Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman and French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner to Lebanon which carries along strife and trouble to Lebanon." 

Lahhoud called on the Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri to "Take a brave step towards solving the crisis." 

He further noted that "Any indictment issued without revealing the fabricators of false witnesses would be unjust to Lebanon and to the Lebanese as well as to the family of Martyr Rafiq Hariri.
